PP Barry Stewart introduced the chair for the evening- Beth Hudman who welcomed members and guests before introducing members who had messages to come forward.
Beth welcomed special guests Michael Eastick, Peter and Meredith Smith all guests of Dr Bruce, then invited everyone to enjoy fellowship over dinner.
After dinner Beth asked everyone to give a hearty welcome to Barry to present his sergeants session.
The wheel spin winners were Barry, Mark S, Guest Meredith Smith and Ian Sanders.
Barry then presented his Facebook funnies and as usual lots of friendly banter and laughs ensued.
Due to the absence of the scheduled guest speaker Rotarians continued to enjoy each other’s company for the remainder of the evening before Bath asked Pres John to conclude the meeting.
President John again thanked Bruce’s family for joining us this evening. He reported that the Village fair organisation was well underway and a reminder that we need as many hands on deck to help on the day.
Pres John then closed meeting 3178 with the four-way test.
