Sergeant Barry introduced Chairperson for the evening Pres Kathy who officially opened meeting 3164 and read apologies before calling for Rotarians who requested spots this evening.
PP Dave Griffiths thanked everyone for the fellowship during his time in Rotary which included 2 different terms the first he was introduced by Mike Johnson and the second Ron Lloyd. Dave will be retiring as a active Rotarian from this evening but will still visit and stay in touch.
Anthony Barilla- 130 people have committed to attending the quiz night and 80 have already paid. If you have said you are going and not paid please do ASAP.
PP Kim Potger- heading to India in January. Spending 4 days administering Polio vaccine. Sue is accompanying him this tie and they will extend their trip to 11 days. See Kim if you are interested in joining the tour it is a very rewarding experience.
PP Brian Burt- someone left a parcel on his doorstep this week. It was 2 Rotary Aprons. Brian then entertained the group with a ‘roast’ to Barry before presenting him with a large Rotary wheel as a Badge.

With the help of President Kathy and Margaret Steve unveiled the large Rotary wheel. PP Ron L and Ian then gave a quick run down of how they brought it back into operation before Steve announced due to a kind donation from the president the wheel would have its first run tonight.
Each week buttons will cost $2 and they cannot be reserved it is a blind draw. $60 from takings will be donated to charity and $40 in prizes ; any unsold numbers will be sold over dinner with prizes being $25, $10, $5, Winners were pp Kim, Angela and pp Lance (all sitting at the same table!). Wheel will be spun by guest speaker or by chair if there is no guest speaker. At the discretion of the president there will be special evenings where the prize will be bigger
Sergeant Barry presented his usual Bunyip roundup and facebook funnies session after announcing birthdays. Barry also asked members to give an extra big hand to everyone who helped with the wheel.
Pres Kathy Changeover is next week
Also again reminded members to get behind the Variety Bash quiz night on the 15thJuly.
Mike W and Kathy volunteered to do football gates again but need more people.
Tonight committees and board meeting-The final one before changeover.
Kathy then closed the meeting after members recited the Four-Way test.
President Elect John Lyons thanked kathy Mike and Brian for their help in organising the changeover dinner.
